anyone know any polishes or polish/pearlescent topcoat combos that would help mimic this amazing mug’s surface?? it is the best.
Hi! Look here, there’s a foil called “opal swirl” http://www.dollarnailart.com/cat_pages/foils.html and here’s a swatch http://www.walkinmyeyeshadow.com/search?q=opal+swirl . Maybe if applied over white base it could work like on this beautiful mug.
Belonged to George IV, King of the United Kingdom (1762-1830) when Prince of Wales
A pair of silver-gilt sauce boats, elaborately cast in the form of a nautilus shell, with gadroons and a scroll border; the handle cast as a sea-monster; supported on an oval rocaille base with entwined snake around the stem. Each sauce boat is engraved with the Prince of Wales’s feathers.
